Babcock in Olympic Trials |
|
 Congratulations to WHS runner Christine Babcock as she competed in the 1500 meter race at the U.S. Olympic Trials in Eugene, Oregon. On July 3rd, Christine ran in the quarterfinals and qualified for the semifinals ran on July 4th. Although she ran a very competitive race in the semifinals (and was one of only 2 high school students in the race), she did not qualify for the finals. Christine originally qualifyied for the trials as she ran a national high school record 1500 m time of 4:16.42 earlier this month.

Congratulations to former Warrior student-athlete Gavin Hedstrom who was the center fielder on the NCAA Champion Fresno State Bulldogs baseball team at the College World Series. Go to the Athletics link at the left for more information.
